The short film Demà ho deixem (Tomorrow Then, 2022) was presented at festivals including BFI Flare, Palm Springs and Raindance. It was nominated for a Gaudí and won awards at the D’A Film Festival and the VOC Awards from Òmnium Cultural. Un Altre Home (Another Man, 2025), his new feature film, will hit theatres this autumn with Filmax. Fervor (Fervour, Penguin Random House, 2024) is his first novel.

Project

During his time at Faberllull, he will write the script for the feature film Tardor (Autumn).

When a university professor and his student begin a relationship, they are forced to question the boundaries between desire, power and romantic love.

During the Screenplay Residency of the Catalan Film Academy, I was able to enjoy two one-week retreats at Faberllull. Each day struck me as an exercise in calm and intensity at once. The place keeps its own pace: silent and poetic, with Olot unfolding around it and welcoming the process. Between the creation and writing sessions, the food at Faberllull sustains you body and soul: meals so exquisite I can only describe them as a hug from the inside — especially appreciated when you need to restore the energy that creative work demands. At Faberllull I also experienced the community dimension of creation: sharing the process with others, accompanying and supporting each other. I was able to get into the parts of the script that require time and patience — shaping the ideas and writing — in a place that values introspection, contemplation and community.
