Bio
Teresa Fèrriz Roure is a researcher and president of the Cultura Oberta organisation, dedicated to action and research into the connections between the arts and culture and people's health and wellbeing.
She has a doctorate in philology, a degree in philology and documentation, a master's degree in cultural management and postgraduate diplomas in innovation and design thinking, creativity and person-centred design, multimedia and digital communication, humanities and health, Ibero-American cooperation and food communication.
Over the last thirty years she has dedicated herself to university teaching, research and cultural management. In Mexico, this was at the Autonomous University of Mexico, the University of Guadalajara and the research centres El Colegio de México and El Colegio de Jalisco. In Catalonia, she worked at the University of Lleida, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Open University of Catalonia, in addition to Barcelona Forum 2004.
She has conceived, promoted and directed dozens of projects for the dissemination and transfer of knowledge, preferably in a digital format, including the multilingual Catalan literature platform Lletra, Música de poetes, Poesia Dibuixada, Viquilletra, Memòria personal, Topobiografies de l’exili català (the first digital map of Civil War graves in Catalonia) and more.
A specialist in cultural exile in Mexico, she created the international REDER Network of Studies of the Republican Exile and the Library of Exile within the Cervantes Virtual Library at the University of Alicante.
