Bio

Jordi Baltà Portolés is a researcher, consultant and trainer in cultural policies, sustainability and international cultural relations. He regularly partners with Trànsit Projectes and is an expert on the United Cities Local Governments (UCLG) Committee on Culture and a member of the Expert Facility for the UNESCO Convention on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. Jordi works as an associate professor for the degree in international relations at Blanquerna - Ramon Llull University, is a collaborating professor on the master's in cultural management at the Open University of Catalonia and the University of Girona and regularly participates in other postgraduate and master's courses.

He has a degree in political science and administration (Autonomous University of Barcelona), a master's in European cultural policy and administration (University of Warwick) and a PhD in cultural policies from the universities of Girona and Melbourne.
