Bio

Hamza Boulaiz was born in Tangier, Morocco in 1990. Since obtaining his diploma from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art and Cultural Animation in Rabat in 2012, Hamza Boulaiz has produced around twenty shows, restitutions, ceremonies, festivals. He has written, co-written and adapted more than ten texts. He has participated in dozens of festivals, artist residencies, international projects and workshops in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

Through his creations, his projects, his personality and his artistic approach, Hamza is committed to and works for a new inclusive, experimental theatre, a theatre open to diversity.

''If we can dream it, we can do it'', he dreamed of a theatre truck and in 2016 he was able to make it a reality. Today he practices what he loves most, creating, co-creating, sharing, saying and transmitting.
