Bio
Natalia Małecka-Nowak is a Lemko activist. She graduated from the Inter-Faculty School of Biomedical Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and completed postgraduate studies in editing at the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Since 2014, she has been associated with the "Ruska Bursa" Association in Gorlice, and since 2020 as the chairwoman of the board. She co-creates Rusyn media, primarily LEM.fm - the first Lemko radio station and the information portal www.lem.fm. She also publishes in the newspapers "Besida" and "NN InfoRusyn". She is a member of the editorial board of the contextual dictionary of the normalized Lemko language. In 2020, she was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the creative scholarship program. In 2021, she was honored with the Mayor of Gorlice Award for achievements in the field of artistic creation, dissemination and protection of culture.
