Valery Alzaga, of Mexican origin, is an organizer for the rights of migrants and workers in the context of job insecurity and the productive decentralization of globalization. She has dedicated more than 20 years of activism to this work, being part of campaigns and organizations such as Justice for Janitors, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, Change to Win European Organizing Center and, currently, Global Labor Justice, of which she serves as vice president .
