Bio

Marcelo Expósito, artist, educator and cultural critic, co-founded and for many years was a stable faculty member in the MACBA Independent Studies Programme (PEI). His work, which is regularly shown in countries around Europe and Latin America, generally deals with historical memory and criticism of Neoliberalism. He has been part of social movements for radical democracy since the 1990s and was secretary of the Congress of Deputies of Spain and deputy in the Spanish General Courts. He has written numerous books, including Interrupciones y movimientos. El arte politizado en la crisis del neoliberalismo (2024).
