Bio
Born in Prats de Lluçanès, Catalonia. He holds a degree in English Translation and Interpreting. He lived in Cardiff, UK, for five years. Once he went back to Catalonia, he was employed in several office jobs until he decided to formally train as a playwright and theatre director at Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. He also holds degrees in cultural management, literature and humanities. He’s an award-winning and published playwright. He writes plays, scripts and dramaturgies for contemporary dance performances. He’s a drama and literature teacher in higher education (Institut del Teatre and Eòlia) and he’s translated into Catalan works by renowned authors such as Shakespeare, Caryl Churchill or Kae Tempest. He’s also a PhD candidate in Theatre Studies, his thesis will deal with dramaturgy and playwriting.
