Bio

Marc Lorente Vázquez is a young director, screenwriter and DoP that created his first short film "Quimera" (2020) with 17 years old, a story about a girl with a split personality illness whom don't know how to fit in his high school. Nowadays he's studying Audiovisual Comunication at UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona) and working as a filmmaker at L2R2 studio, also doing projects at film schools like ECIB or ICM. Among the projects that he worked in they stand out "Avui pens demà" and "Lluna", two short flims in process of distribution. Marc is actually going on his path as a director developing two new short films created by him: "Caliza" and "Limpiando recuerdos".

Project

During my stay at Faberllull, I will have the opportunity to be a resident at Hackató, an international film residency designed to foster the talent of young creators.

In this intensive experience, we will work hand in hand with all the residents, starting from a script, to collectively tackle all the stages of the filmmaking process: from the pre-production phase to production and post-production.

With the daily accompaniment of a mentor who will guide us throughout the process and two masterclasses given by industry professionals, we will work together to create an audiovisual piece: a short film that will capture our vision and creativity in a unique way.
