Bio

It is located at the intersection between cinema and research. His work has been selected in festivals such as the Berlinale, the San Sebastián International Film Festival, Visions du Réel, the Nara International Film Festival, the Sao Paulo International Film Festival, FIDBA, Pesaro or DocLisboa, among others He has edited more than 25 feature films to date, which have been premiered and awarded at competitions such as IDFA, Rotterdam, Semaine de la Critique de Cannes, or Moscow International FF, among others.

His first feature film Trinta Lumes, premiered in the Panorama section of the Berlinale 2018, was well received internationally and won numerous awards. Camille&Ulysse, documentary with Donna Haraway and Vinciane Despret, premiered at IDFA DocLab 2021 and produced by CCCB/Centri Pompidou, and her latest short film Tatuado nos ollos levamos o pouso premiered at Visions du Réel 2022 and had a wide range of festivals. Currently, Diana Toucedo combines her profession with teaching at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and is part of the management of the Master of Film at the Netherlands Film Academy.

Project

WANTING TO LIVE A SCREAM. Lola Sar is a Galician architect based in Barcelona and Amsterdam. Her life is dedicated to humanitarian projects related to the consequences of war conflicts: rehabilitation and preservation of heritage, refugee camps, new settlements... One day, while Lola is working on a research project on illegal returns hot on the Greek border, he recognizes the image of a Syrian woman, Fariha.
