Bio

Eva Baltasar (Barcelona, 1978) is a writer and poet. Her novel Permafrost (Catalan Booksellers' Award 2018, Finalist Prix Médicis Étranger 2021), translated into more than ten languages, is the first delivery of a triptych with female protagonists that has followed with Boulder (Òmnium Award for the Best Catalan Novel 2020, Finalist Prix Les Inrockuptibles 2022) and that has closed with Mamut.

Project

I will work together with Kata Varju on the translation of some of my poems into Hungarian and on polishing the final versions of Hungarian poems translated into Catalan.
