DANIEL POZO BERNAL
Teacher of Technology, Information Technology and Robotics
Sevilla

Bio

Degree in Electronic Physics. Secondary and high school teacher at the public school, where he teaches Technology, Computer Science and Robotics. Although these themes place him in an eminently technical profile, he tries to mix disciplines and “humanize the technique”.

Ever since I was a student, I felt that education had to make a profound effort to understand the individual. Over time, he also understood that it is necessary to analyze its interaction with the environment, trying to make it self-sufficient in a positive construction of it. For this reason, he is particularly interested in the analysis of resources for the integration of group thought processes in the classroom, not only as tools that seek effectiveness and efficiency, but also as a therapeutic process at a personal level, generating affective bonds, supportive behaviour and an increase in levels of awareness and empathy. A subject pending in the face of a true social evolution of the human being for which technology today offers us a multitude of new resources. Not only is there tremendous humanistic potential in the teaching of science and technology, but human beings owe them much of their humanity.

Project

During my stay at Faber I will have the opportunity to observe the latest tools developed in the field of educational robotics and I will try to analyze different ways of integrating them into the projects I carry out in my teaching work. I hope to reflect and contribute on how they could improve not only the scientific and technological development of the student, but also its personal and social profile, looking for ways to improve the resources used in collaborative learning, generation and analysis of ideas and structuring of groups.
