After that, he worked for Arduino.org for a year and a half, further developing and maintaining Snap4Arduino.

As a freelancer he now works, among others, for the Snap! programming language. He is also working with John Maloney and Jens Mönig on MicroBlocks: a blocks based dynamic programming language for microcontrollers.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Free Software. He is an avid GNU/Linux user and a supporter of the Free Software Foundation Europe.

Project

MicroBlocks has been in alpha development for 3 years, and is now missing just one last feature in order to enter beta. We are going to use our time together at FABER to try to finalize these last details holding MicroBlocks from being released as beta.
