Project

During my stay I will work on a novel, about the history of three generations of women, of the poorest and most rural Catalonia. Based on the story, legends and myths that have circulated in my family past the tone of my imagination. The goal is to create a story that starts from a deep, telluric space marked by brutality and hope. The first generation corresponds to Clemència, born at the end of the 19th century, forced to marry by force and flee to the city. The second story is that of her daughter, Rosalia, who will experience the whole process of industrialization and its consequences, the third is that of the granddaughter of Clemència, Núria.
