Project
During my stay at Faber I am going to work in my translation of Sharon Olds’ book “One Secret Thing”, her ninth collection.
Sharon Olds (born November 19, 1942), is an American poet, recipient of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry, amongst other awards.
In this collection she completes her cycle of family poems in a book at once intense and harmonic, playful with language, and rich with a new self-awareness, sense of irony and vigorous poetic power.
Sharon Olds’ books are not translated into Catalan yet, and I think it necessary to have her poems in our language.
