Bio

Sara da Pena Gómez holds a degree in Hispanic Philology (UAB), a postgraduate qualification in Screenwriting (Roda & Rodar | Abat Oliba University), and a Master’s degree in Editing from Pompeu Fabra University.

Since 2010, she has worked in the publishing industry as a freelance proofreader, manuscript reader, and editor for publishers such as La Galera, Penguin Random House, Planeta, Duomo, and Angle Editorial. From 2011 to 2013, she founded and managed Cuerpo 6, organizing reading clubs, poetry recitals, and editorial correction courses.

In 2013, she began working in television as a writer and screenwriter on the literary program Via Llibre (Canal 33). In 2015, she joined TVE’s book program Página Dos (Ondas Award 2025), where she worked for eight years as deputy director, coordinating content, supervising scripts, and managing the team.

Since 2023, she has worked project by project as a writer, screenwriter, or head of content. Her recent credits include the documentary series Les dones i els dies (3Cat, 2023), Diaris fotogràfics (3Cat, 2024), and GentEva (EVA, 2024); advertising campaigns such as L’alegria que compartim (Abacus, 2024) and Doble Trabajo (Skoda, 2024); the documentary El risc radical. Espai 10 – Espai 13 (Caixaforum+, 2025); and the true-crime series La maldición del emperador (Movistar+, 2026) and Timadores (Atresmedia, 2026).

Project

At Faberllull, she will work on writing the script for the series Fum.
