Laia Seró Moreno (1992) leverages journalism and ethnography to address social issues from the perspective of documentary literature. An online editor at ARA newspaper and researcher for the 'Xahrazad: Narrative Thought and Action in Culture and Communication' group, Seró Moreno has a degree in journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a master's in anthropology and ethnography from the University of Barcelona (UB). She has been a member of the SomAtents reporters' group and engaged in and co-directed social research with a gender perspective for institutions such as the Barcelona Maritime Museum ('Give Me The Sea', onboarding women into the institution's discourses and educational approach), the Mallorca Maritime Museum (participatory conferences and museum studies), the Balearic Women's Institute ('Study on Perceptions Around Rape and Equality Among People Aged 14 to 18') and the Museum of the Word (Mallorca).
