Bio

Pauline Fondevila is a French artist who lives and works in Argentina since 2007. She was a resident in Hangar (Barcelona) from 2004 to 2006 and in Casa Vecina (Mexico City) in 2012. Her production combines several languages and artistic territories. She published two short novels (Una casa y un tambor, Ivan Rosado, 2015, Cinco días en Colón, Ivan Rosado, 2018). She is a member of the music band Perro Fantasma, where she sings, draws and writes the lyrics for their songs. Her drawings and installations can be found in numerous private and public collections in France, Spain and Argentina. She regularly exhibits her work in galleries, museums, biennials and cultural events. She recently participated with her piece “La promesa del mar” in Momentum X, the biennial for Nordic countries taking place in Norway, and in La Noche de las Ideas in Ushuaia (Argentina). She is currently represented by gallery Diego Obligado.
