Bio
PhD in Classical Philology and her main research fields are Classical Reception and Comparative Literature. Her PhD dissertation was awarded by RACV (Real Acadèmia de Cultura Valenciana). Currently she is an Assistant Professor at Vilnius University (Lithuania) in the Institute for Literary, Cultural and Translation Studies and her main teaching areas are Spanish Contemporary Theater and Spanish Medieval and Golden Age Literature. Furthermore, she is a fellow of the research project MotherNet (https://www.mothernet.eu/), of the research group GIRLC (Grup d’Investigació en la Recepció de les Literatures Clàssiques) at University of Valencia and of the research group SEMS (Spanish Early Modernity Studies) at University of Bucharest.
Project
During my stay at Faber I am going to work on a monography about “Negotiating Non-Motherhood”, together with other colleagues from the research project MotherNet. The monography will include a range of perspectives from different disciplines, including sociology, anthropology, gender studies, and literary and cultural studies.
