Art Workshop on Nature for 1st Grade Students in Andorra, with Johannes Christopher Gérard

First grade primary school students at the British College of Andorra swapped the classroom for the forest in this nature art workshop led by Johannes Christopher Gérard. After walking and observing the elements that make up nature and the sensations they cause, each child selected materials from the environment. They used the materials to build ephemeral and sustainable art installations in nature as a group and explored the benefits that nature brings to creative processes.

The workshop was one of the activities in which Johannes Christopher Gérard (Netherlands) will participate during his four-week residency at Faber Andorra. The interdisciplinary artist has taken advantage of this month to work on the in situ project Empty Time.
