Learning in art is a creative process focused on the learner's creativity empowerment whether it challenges education in the learning process. Both educational and artistic aspects however challenge, interwove and inform each other. The workshop “Art in Education turn” has taken place at Escola d’expressió in Olot (Girona) an art’s school focused on giving the opportunity to local people of all ages to unfold their skills and creativity in several fields of art. The workshop was scheduled as an action within the Residency Faberllull’s Programme and it was targeted to experience on the process of creativity in art’s learning. This workshop was carried out by painter Bogumil Gardoliński and pedagogue Pilar Cataño as tutors and it engaged 20 students of range of age between 6 and 16 years old as participants in this pedagogical experience. The objective of the workshop was to explore new actions and techniques in the process of creative learning carried out by students. Though they began by creating a scale of colours on the surface of the board (120x160) and continued to applying further techniques and actions like printing hands and printing paper on the board till they covered the board’s surface completely under painter’s technical guide and pedagogue’s learning remarks. The participation of the younger students was fulfilling, active and bold while the small children eventually inhibited by younger presence developped a passive and distracted attitude towards what was suceeding in the place. However the collaborative action between them, their surprise and boosting engagement in the process of creation showed clearly that with a consciencious action and participation of the learners the result meant irrelevant in relation to learning skills, initiative and creativity of the learners. Thus art introduces creativity in the learning process. No more instructivism but constructivism in education. There will be collaborative participation in learning focused on the process of creation rather than on the result of learning thereby education and art will become inseparable one from other.
