In the context of this year's Faberllull residency dedicated to linguistic rights, Linguapax International promoted and organised the WORLDS WITH WORDS meeting, conceived as an exchange between the participants, experts on the topic active in different fields (human sciences, performing arts, literature, activism) open to the community of Olot, the venue of the residency. The participants were able to present their work, highlighting their contribution to the defence of the rights of populations speaking minority or minoritized languages. The second part of the meeting focused on good practices and concrete recommendations that can be applied in different areas. Particular attention was paid to the emotional aspect of languages, with video interviews aimed at soliciting observations, narrations, images to stimulate a personal and intimate debate. The meeting, organised by Katjuscia Mattu, led by the author Sonia Antinori, was filmed by the documentary filmmaker Lucia Rojas de Maldonado for the production of short videos aimed at disseminating the concepts underlying a democratic language culture.
